Our Saturday night church. We are a family, cultivating an atmosphere of inclusion and care for all who walk through our doors. Many members are homeless, recovering addicts, ex-offenders and living in poverty. We learn from the bible, worship and eat a two course meal together.
Our food bank which enables vulnerable people to collect a free food parcel and gain support & guidance to help them move on from their current situations.
A café run on a “pay as you are able” basis. If you’re unable to pay – the meal is free. If you’re able to pay – donate what you feel the meal is worth. Everyone is welcome. Awarded the highest Food Hygiene rating of 5 from CMBC.
Clients who are facing hardship and poverty meet with experienced caring staff who assess the individual needs of clients and ensure provision & support are put in place to effectively and rapidly meet those needs.
Runs through the coldest months of the year to provide an evening meal, a bed and a breakfast to anyone who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets. It has a tremendous success rate in helping its users find permanent accommodation.
Housing for women who are homeless or for those who are most in need. As well as providing housing, this program seeks to support and equip tenants with life skills to enable independence. Partnered with Green Pastures Christian Social Enterprise.
Opens at the same time as the Food and Support Drop in but in The Gathering Place next door. This provides a safe space for families to spend time together doing craft and other activities. Once a month the BusOasis comes and we have play station games as well as the usual crafts and snacks
A brand-new 9 month course funded by New Wine, run by Cath and Angus Music, which teaches and develops new worship leaders from across Calderdale to resource churches and church plants throughout our region, including, but not restricted to, Saturday Gathering and its plants.
An annual celebration expressing God’s free and unconditional love to our local area in the form of a huge town-wide party. Churches and charitable organisations join together to ensure a day of radical generosity for our town. Everything is free – there’s no catch!
